Created by the Italian design studio Chiaramonte Marin, Knot family is a collection of stately pendent lights that appose two dramatically dissimilar materials. The collection has recently been expanded with a new small-sized portable outdoor variant called Knot Battery S.
Like the original Knot Battery, the new light provides up to four and half hours of operation on a single charge, and because it can be easily carried from one place to another, it is perfect for quick changes in the lighting ambience of any area of the interior or exterior. The design combines coarse natural fibre with smooth, transparent handblown glass to arouse a contrast as striking as it is dignified.
The original Knot collection features full-bodied globes of varying shapes and sizes penetrated by robust cords that seemingly pull the glass inward for a bemusing plastic effect. Knot Battery S is the perfect anchor for the lofty pendants in this collection typified by strikingly disparate materials. The LED light source is cradled in a handsome bottom piece, which, like the cord end cap, is fashioned from refined metal.
Knot Battery S is IP44 compliant for outdoor use, thus its charm is not confined to the interior. Charging is by means of a convenient magnetic connector in the lower part of the light. Knot Battery S is a sophisticated and flexible light that provides up to four and a half hours of use on a single charge, which makes it ideal for lighting outdoor spaces and also enhancing existing lighting. Thanks to its compact size and portability, Knot Battery S is well suited to both daily use and special occasions.
